Sometimes hearing what you should you do next in life is as simple as closing yours eyes and listening.

And deciding what you will do next is as easy as saying it out loud to the wind.

The engine within

Each day we wake up and start up fuelling our minds from within to create the life we have always wanted.

I recently read the most powerful statement that I hope will have the same impact in allowing you to work and fuel the fire when it demands, as well as rest when that is necessary too.

At night just before you sleep, cease pumping coal into the "fire of your mind." A restless mind at a rest period is a total waste of energy.

Tonight when you can't get the days or the following days worry out of your mind, imagine you are a steam engine and simply stop fuelling the fire with coals of thought.

Switch off and reserve energy for the brighter day that is tomorrow!

It is bigger than you and I...

Sometimes doing something totally different to what  you are used to day to day can make you realise there is more to life than the day to day.

It makes such a difference to simply stop and spend some time focusing upwards or inwards.

Yesterday we attended evensong at Westminster Abbey in honour of Bahamian Independence.

Whilst there, Shoes and I took a little time to light a candle and say a prayer or focus a few thoughts on those who need our support and whom we love.

It was special indeed.

Don't look back

The most whoesome and fulfilled life is one where we are always looking forward to what is to come and are simply grateful for all that we have already experienced and achieved.

It is sometimes as simple as that!
