Be the Change...

By now you are familiar with the Bagua (click here for grid.) You know where your current location is and you have set one goal in each area.

You are ready to create change in your life and move towards [...]
a more balanced you, here is how:

  • Each day take one task/chore/assignment that normally dominates your life and replace it with a new one.
  • The new task can take as little as five minutes but should be something that relates to the area of the Bagua you want to put more focus on. (the examples below will make it clear)
  • This is fun and by making a small change just once everyday you will notice a huge difference.

Some Examples:
(recap here if you need)

  • Your life is currently dominated with admin and work. Take five minutes today to stop, breathe and think. Maybe you want to move to the "Wealth and Prosperity" area. Use those five minutes to give thanks in the form of a prayer or even an email to someone. Alternatively, visualise all the things you would like to have to be thankful for. Maybe even apply for a new job?

  • You may spend too much time alone and you want to move into the "Love and Relationships" block. As we learnt earlier, the next time you see someone who catches your eye, Strike the Match of conversation and see what happens.

  • You may be too focussed on yourself or bogged down by your career. You want to move to "Helpful People" area. You feel you need a mentor or you want to become more spiritual in terms of finding guidance. Ask! If you don't ask you don't get. Spend five minutes looking into a mentorship programme your work may offer or seek spiritual guidance from one of your friends who can help.

The examples go on and on but the key is not what you do but rather that you make a change!

Start devoting small acts of change to the goals you have laid out and that change will become you.
"Change what you give and you will always, without exception, change what you receive, because that is the law of attraction."
