Get it into your blood

Did you know that Japan, as efficient and productive as it is as a country, has repeatedly ranked as the least happy nation year on year. The exact reason is know to the Japanese as "Karoshi" or literally translated as "killer work ethic."

Think about this seriously. Bhutan on the other hand is [...]
the happiest country by far and also has the highest recorded level of longevity with some of its people living to 106 and upwards.

So what is it that is helping Bhutan cultivate such happiness? They let their GDP be a secondary focus to their GDH (Gross Domestic Happiness.)

Rog the Random Act of Kindness Guru!
Do the same for your life. Create an environment in your home, at your desk and in your day to day activities where you are able to pursue happiness!

  • Exercise daily or even just walk a little everyday for fresh air
  • Care about something bigger than yourself. This could be your family, a pet or even a charity
  • Nutture your supportive networks of friends and family
  • Be someone who shows Random Acts of Kindness
I have a dear friend Roger who did this very thing almost everyday through our University years and it had a profound impact on me. Do one little thing everyday to show someone else a R.A.K. This could be as simple as a smile!

Get these ideas into your very fibre and into your blood. Happiness will become you!
